In March 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction NOW: Art of the 21st Century Theme Sale, which included the work Everything You’ve Ever Wanted on a Silver Platter (Perfect Silver Liz Diptych) by Charles Lutz. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,779.39), 48% above the upper estimate. Other works by Charles Lutz have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,255.47) in September 2009 for the work Stacked (LV Heinz, Brillo and Kellogg's Boxes).
