The price achieved of USD 61,000.00 (€ 39,182.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Leander Weed have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yosemite Valley And Big Tree Views in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 289,010.65).
