The auction ended at the price of GBP 600.00 (€ 700.44), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Charles Halkerston have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View from the studio window at Buccleuch Place in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,210.34).
