Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Confidences by Charles Conder. The price achieved of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,693.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Conder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British the Fatal Colors in August 2008 with an auction result of AUD 702,000.00 (€ 409,791.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Confidences von Charles Conder zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.100,00 (€ 5.693,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Conder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit British the Fatal Colors im August 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 702.000,00 (€ 409.791,12).
