The work Fête galante by Charles Conder was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2010. The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,313.21) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Conder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British the Fatal Colors in August 2008 with an auction result of AUD 702,000.00 (€ 409,791.12).

Die Arbeit Fête galante von Charles Conder kam im September 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.313,21) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Conder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit British the Fatal Colors im August 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 702.000,00 (€ 409.791,12).
