Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Group of Figures by Charles Conder was auctioned at Sothebys in London in January last year. The price achieved of GBP 630.00 (€ 755.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Conder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British the Fatal Colors in August 2008 with an auction result of AUD 702,000.00 (€ 409,791.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Group of Figures von Charles Conder kam im Januar letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 630,00 (€ 755,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Conder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit British the Fatal Colors im August 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 702.000,00 (€ 409.791,12).
