Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Untitled (Triptych) by César Paternosto was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2015. The auction ended at the price of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,739.68), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by César Paternosto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Riff, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 93,750.00 (€ 84,088.26).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Triptych) von César Paternosto wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.739,68) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von César Paternosto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Riff beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 93.750,00 (€ 84.088,26) versteigert wurde.
