Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Phoenix (3 Parts) by César Paternosto. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 28,125.00 (€ 19,910.09). Admittedly, works by César Paternosto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Riff in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 84,088.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Phoenix (3 Parts) von César Paternosto zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 28.125,00 (€ 19.910,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von César Paternosto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Riff im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 84.088,26).
