Auction result misses estimated price range

In July 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Bellagio by César Paternosto for USD 750.00 (€ 609.01). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by César Paternosto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Riff in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 84,088.26).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Im Juli 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bellagio von César Paternosto für USD 750,00 (€ 609,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von César Paternosto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Riff im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 84.088,26).
