Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2011 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm, which included the work "Sophisticated Lady" by César Paternosto. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 120,000.00 (€ 13,505.84), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by César Paternosto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Riff in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 84,088.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2011 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Sophisticated Lady" von César Paternosto zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 120.000,00 (€ 13.505,84) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von César Paternosto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Riff im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 84.088,26).
