The work A study of a dog on its back; and A study of a Terrier (illustrated) by Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in May 2014. It achieved a price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,843.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work J. Ashton Radcliffe, M.F.H., Hunting with the South Dorset Hunt in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 37,000.00 (€ 25,190.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
