It achieved a price of EUR 562.50 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work J. Ashton Radcliffe, M.F.H., Hunting with the South Dorset Hunt in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 37,000.00 (€ 25,190.63).

Die Arbeit Départ de la meute von Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin kam im September 2011 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 562,50 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cecil Charles Windsor Aldin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit J. Ashton Radcliffe, M.F.H., Hunting with the South Dorset Hunt im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.000,00 (€ 25.190,63).
