Sold at the lower estimate price
In September 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Capri by Carole Feuerman. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,252.90) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carole Feuerman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mona Lisa in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 69,290.47).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im September 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Capri von Carole Feuerman zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.252,90) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carole Feuerman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mona Lisa im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 69.290,47).
