This artwork by Carmen Herrera achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in January this year. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Blanco y verde (White and Green) sold for GBP 8,820.00 (€ 10,010.84) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carmen Herrera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blanco Y Verde in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 2,900,000.00 (€ 2,582,828.64).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Carmen Herrera erzielte im Januar diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Evening & Day Editions wurde die Arbeit Blanco y verde (White and Green) für GBP 8.820,00 (€ 10.010,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carmen Herrera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blanco Y Verde im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.900.000,00 (€ 2.582.828,64).
