The work Itinerario circolare by Carmelo Cappello was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in December 2015. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,700.00 42% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carmelo Cappello achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'uomo nello spazio in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 30,000.00.

Die Arbeit Itinerario circolare von Carmelo Cappello wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.700,00 und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carmelo Cappello erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'uomo nello spazio im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.000,00.
