This artwork by Carmelo Cappello achieved an unexpectedly high price at Il Ponte in November 2021. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Ovali intersecanti sold for EUR 16,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Carmelo Cappello; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot L'uomo nello spazio sold at auction in December 2018 with the realized price of EUR 30,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Carmelo Cappello erzielte im November 2021 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Ovali intersecanti für EUR 16.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Carmelo Cappello; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit L'uomo nello spazio im Dezember 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 30.000,00.
