The »bidding war« ended at EUR 9,000.00 64% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carmelo Cappello - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'uomo nello spazio, which sold at auction in December 2018 for EUR 30,000.00.

Die Arbeit Traiettorie dal piano allo spazio II von Carmelo Cappello wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 9.000,00 und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Carmelo Cappello mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'uomo nello spazio beobachtet, die im Dezember 2018 für EUR 30.000,00 versteigert wurde.
