Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Interruzione lineare by Carmelo Cappello was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in December 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Carmelo Cappello have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'uomo nello spazio in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 30,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Interruzione lineare von Carmelo Cappello wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carmelo Cappello auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'uomo nello spazio im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.000,00.
