Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Il Ponte held the auction Arte moderna e contemporanea, which included the work Pastorello by Carmelo Cappello. The price achieved of EUR 3,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,500.00 – 4,500.00. Admittedly, works by Carmelo Cappello have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'uomo nello spazio in December 2018 with an auction result of EUR 30,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte moderna e contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pastorello von Carmelo Cappello zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.500,00 – 4.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carmelo Cappello auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'uomo nello spazio im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 30.000,00.
