Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Forma-Luce-Spazio by Carmelo Cappello was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in June 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 8,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carmelo Cappello - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'uomo nello spazio, which sold at auction in December 2018 for EUR 30,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Forma-Luce-Spazio von Carmelo Cappello wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 8.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Carmelo Cappello mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'uomo nello spazio beobachtet, die im Dezember 2018 für EUR 30.000,00 versteigert wurde.
