Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2019 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Natura morta by Carlo Carrà. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 35,129.63) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Carrà achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il meriggio in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 480,050.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Natura morta von Carlo Carrà zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 35.129,63) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Carrà erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il meriggio im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 480.050,00.
