Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Maternità by Carlo Carrà was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Il Ponte in November last year. The price achieved of EUR 1,800.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Carrà achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il meriggio in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 480,050.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Maternità von Carlo Carrà wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Il Ponte versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.800,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Carrà erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il meriggio im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 480.050,00.
