Auction result misses estimated price range
In June last year a collector was able to acquire the work Paesaggio con albero by Carlo Carrà for EUR 18,900.00. This price was achieved in the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part II at Christies in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carlo Carrà achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il meriggio in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 480,050.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paesaggio con albero von Carlo Carrà für EUR 18.900,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part II bei Christies in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carlo Carrà erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il meriggio im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 480.050,00.
