Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Oscar Borg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Watching The Race in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 88,009.20).

Die Arbeit Three riders von Carl Oscar Borg kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 48.000,00 (€ 4.074,73) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Oscar Borg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Watching The Race im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 88.009,20).
