The price achieved of USD 122,500.00 (€ 88,009.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Watching The Race is the most expensive artwork by Carl Oscar Borg that we have observed at auctions so far.
