Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work 'Peace' by Carl Kauba. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 18,482.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Other works by Carl Kauba have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2008 the work Indian Chief was auctioned for USD 46,875.00 (€ 33,289.54).
