Admittedly, works by Carl Kauba have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Indian Chief in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 46,875.00 (€ 33,289.54).

Die Arbeit Indian With Rifle von Carl Kauba kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.759,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Kauba auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Indian Chief im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 46.875,00 (€ 33.289,54).
