Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Cowboys With Horses by Carl Kauba was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,313.00 (€ 3,830.57). Admittedly, works by Carl Kauba have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Indian Chief in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 46,875.00 (€ 33,289.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Cowboys With Horses von Carl Kauba kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.313,00 (€ 3.830,57) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Kauba auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Indian Chief im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 46.875,00 (€ 33.289,54).
