This artwork by Carl Kauba achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2021. In the Western Art auction, the work How-Kola! sold for USD 8,925.00 (€ 7,563.56) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Carl Kauba have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Indian Chief in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 46,875.00 (€ 33,289.54).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Carl Kauba erzielte im August 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Western Art wurde die Arbeit How-Kola! für USD 8.925,00 (€ 7.563,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carl Kauba auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Indian Chief im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 46.875,00 (€ 33.289,54).
