Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Grossberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selbstbildnis. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 649,000.00.

Die Arbeit Häuser, Turm und Gebirge. von Carl Grossberg kam im Dezember 2021 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 37.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Grossberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selbstbildnis. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 649.000,00.
