Here, the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 32,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Grossberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selbstbildnis. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 649,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit „Bewag Kraftwerk West“. von Carl Grossberg kam im Juni 2021 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 32.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Grossberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selbstbildnis. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 649.000,00.
