Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Grisebach held the auction Sommer 2021 - Moderne Kunst, which included the work Kesselraum. by Carl Grossberg. It changed hands for a price of EUR 18,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carl Grossberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selbstbildnis. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 649,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Grisebach die Auktion Sommer 2021 - Moderne Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kesselraum. von Carl Grossberg zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 18.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carl Grossberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selbstbildnis. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 649.000,00.
