Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March last year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Becoming Meg (from the series Becoming) by Candice Breitz. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,204.04), 18% above the upper estimate. Other works by Candice Breitz have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 15,179.78) in April 2016 for the work Double Olivia (Hopelessly Devoted To You).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Becoming Meg (from the series Becoming) von Candice Breitz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 11.204,04) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Candice Breitz haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 15.179,78) im April 2016 für die Arbeit Double Olivia (Hopelessly Devoted To You) beobachtet.
