The work Ghost Series #5 by Candice Breitz was sold in the ACHENBACH Art Auction auction at VAN HAM in June 2015. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 893.00 49% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Candice Breitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Double Olivia (Hopelessly Devoted To You) in April 2016 with an auction result of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 15,179.78).

Die Arbeit Ghost Series #5 von Candice Breitz wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion ACHENBACH Art Auction bei VAN HAM versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 893,00 und damit 49% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Candice Breitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Double Olivia (Hopelessly Devoted To You) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 15.179,78).
