A top price for Calvin Marcus
In May last year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Dead Soldier by Calvin Marcus. The »bidding war« ended at USD 151,200.00 (€ 140,900.20), 26% above the upper estimate. With this result, Dead Soldier is even the most expensive work of art by Calvin Marcus that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dead Soldier von Calvin Marcus zur Versteigerung kam.
