Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tanya by Cady Noland was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in October 2014. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,941.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cady Noland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bluewald in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 9,797,000.00 (€ 8,911,224.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tanya von Cady Noland wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 23.941,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cady Noland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bluewald im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.797.000,00 (€ 8.911.224,30).
