Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,510.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Burt Glinn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Maria Callas, La Scala, Italie, 1955, which sold at auction in September 2017 for EUR 11,250.00.
