In September 2002 Christies in New York held the auction Post War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Alfresco mosaico by Bruno Saetti. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,352.50 (€ 11,491.55), 42% above the upper estimate. Other works by Bruno Saetti have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 17,360.00 in May 2002 for the work Natura morta.
