Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work No. 67 by Brigitte Matschinsky-Denninghoff. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,857.58), 16% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Brigitte Matschinsky-Denninghoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „Steigungen (Form in Zinn Nr. 10)“., which sold at auction in June 2017 for EUR 22,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit No. 67 von Brigitte Matschinsky-Denninghoff zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.857,58) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Brigitte Matschinsky-Denninghoff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „Steigungen (Form in Zinn Nr. 10)“. beobachtet, die im Juni 2017 für EUR 22.500,00 versteigert wurde.
