In the Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Mount Huntington, Looking Southwest at Twilight sold for USD 3,840.00 (€ 3,628.12) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Bradford Washburn; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sunset at 41,000 Feet, Mount McKinley, Alaska sold at auction in January 2024 with the realized price of USD 4,352.00 (€ 3,803.53).
