This artwork by Bradford Washburn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Skinner Boston in January 2024. In the Prints & Photographs auction, the work Lilliputians in the Great Gorge of Ruth Glacier, Alaska sold for USD 3,840.00 (€ 3,356.06) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Bradford Washburn; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sunset at 41,000 Feet, Mount McKinley, Alaska sold at auction in January 2024 with the realized price of USD 4,352.00 (€ 3,803.53).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Bradford Washburn erzielte im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Skinner Boston einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints & Photographs wurde die Arbeit Lilliputians in the Great Gorge of Ruth Glacier, Alaska für USD 3.840,00 (€ 3.356,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00.
