This artwork by Boyle Family achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2007. In the Scottish Pictures: Edinburgh Assembly Rooms auction, the work Demolition First Study With Lock And Trivet sold for GBP 26,400.00 (€ 38,653.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Boyle Family - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hansard Mews, which sold at auction in July 2007 for GBP 55,200.00 (€ 81,984.74).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Boyle Family erzielte im April 2007 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Scottish Pictures: Edinburgh Assembly Rooms wurde die Arbeit Demolition First Study With Lock And Trivet für GBP 26.400,00 (€ 38.653,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Boyle Family mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hansard Mews beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für GBP 55.200,00 (€ 81.984,74) versteigert wurde.
