Auction result well in line with expectations
The work England. Stage Design For The Flea by Boris Kustodiev was sold in the Russian Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in November 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,563.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Kustodiev achieve.
