Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Boris Kustodiev could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Village Fair changed hands for GBP 189,000.00 (€ 221,903.78) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Kustodiev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Coachman in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 4,409,250.00 (€ 5,431,748.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Boris Kustodiev konnte im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wechselte die Arbeit Village Fair für GBP 189.000,00 (€ 221.903,78) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Boris Kustodiev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Coachman im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.409.250,00 (€ 5.431.748,64).
