The work Bublik Sellers by Boris Kustodiev was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 59,787.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Kustodiev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Coachman in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 4,409,250.00 (€ 5,431,748.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bublik Sellers von Boris Kustodiev wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 59.787,70) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Boris Kustodiev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Coachman im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.409.250,00 (€ 5.431.748,64).
