Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Girl On The Banks Of The Volga by Boris Kustodiev. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 42,298.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Kustodiev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Coachman in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 4,409,250.00 (€ 5,431,748.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girl On The Banks Of The Volga von Boris Kustodiev zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 42.298,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Boris Kustodiev erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Coachman im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.409.250,00 (€ 5.431.748,64).
