The result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,470.34) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Boris Kustodiev achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Coachman in November 2012 with an auction result of GBP 4,409,250.00 (€ 5,431,748.64).
