The work Castle Xxxix by Bob Law was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2014. It achieved a price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 36,310.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bob Law - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nothing to be Afraid of V 16.7.69, which sold at auction in March this year for GBP 101,100.00 (€ 115,020.78).

Die Arbeit Castle Xxxix von Bob Law kam im März 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 36.310,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Bob Law mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nothing to be Afraid of V 16.7.69 beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für GBP 101.100,00 (€ 115.020,78) versteigert wurde.
