Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Bo Bartlett could be acquired at Christies in New York in January 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Wave/Particle changed hands for USD 250.00 (€ 182.28) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bo Bartlett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hurtsboro in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 226,800.00 (€ 185,993.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bo Bartlett konnte im Januar 2011 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Wave/Particle für USD 250,00 (€ 182,28) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bo Bartlett erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hurtsboro im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 226.800,00 (€ 185.993,11).
