Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work The New World by Bo Bartlett for USD 94,500.00 (€ 83,724.64). This price was achieved in the auction American Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bo Bartlett - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hurtsboro, which sold at auction in May 2021 for USD 226,800.00 (€ 185,993.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The New World von Bo Bartlett für USD 94.500,00 (€ 83.724,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bo Bartlett mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hurtsboro beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für USD 226.800,00 (€ 185.993,11) versteigert wurde.
